Key responsibilities to include
- Supervising pupils in dining halls, playgrounds, and other designated areas.
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of all children at all times.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and reinforcing school expectations.
- Supporting children in developing social skills, friendships, and cooperative play.
- Managing minor incidents, disputes, and accidents appropriately.
- Promoting inclusion and ensuring all pupils are engaged and supported.
- Reporting safeguarding, behavioural, health, or welfare concerns to appropriate staff.
- Assisting with first aid procedures in line with school policies (where trained).
- Helping maintain a clean, orderly, and safe lunchtime environment.
