We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our supportive English department.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably qualified candidates.
- Commit to helping students achieve their full potential through high-quality teaching, strong classroom practice and a focus on oracy, reading and writing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure excellent student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Preference for candidates currently undertaking Initial Teacher Training (ITT) who are due to achieve QTS before taking up the post.
Professional Development & Induction:
- Full induction programme for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a designated mentor, structured support meetings, reduced timetable, and ongoing professional development.
- Opportunities for further development including NPQML or NPQSL.
Safeguarding:
- Successful applicant will undertake online safeguarding training.
- All positions are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
