St Mary’s CE Primary School seeks a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant, initially in Year 5. Pupils are welcoming, diverse and eager to learn. The assistant will nurture their potential, champion high standards and bring out the best in every child.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with primary school children or NVQ 2 (or equivalent) in teaching assistance
- Experience working within the Primary phase
- High expectations for all children
- Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and kindness, and demonstrating consideration for their development
- High standards of spoken and written English
- Ability to work as part of an effective team
- Administrative competence, including ICT usage
- Willingness to contribute to all aspects of school life
Additional Information
The candidate will undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. Visas cannot be sponsored.
