The Governors, staff and children of St Mary’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher. This will initially be in one of our Year 5 classes. Our pupils are welcoming, diverse and eager to learn. They require a teacher who will nurture their potential, champion high standards and bring out the best in every child.

Safeguarding and Checks

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. Applicants must give details of any unspent conviction, cautions, reprimands or warnings under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975. The role may require additional checks including childcare disqualification, DBS, medical, online and social media, prohibition from teaching, right to work, satisfactory references and suitability to work with children.
