St Mary's have an opportunity to join our supportive team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, playing a vital role in supporting our students on their journey to success.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support for individual students, creating a positive and inclusive classroom.
- Work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
- Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
- Build effective working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Adapt your approach to meet the needs of all pupils.
