As a Science Technician, you will join a dedicated team of science technicians and teachers and play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and effective running of the Science Department. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical lessons; supporting health and safety procedures; maintaining laboratories; and ensuring students have access to resources required to excel.

- Location: St Mary's Catholic School, Bishop's Stortford
- Hours: 25 hours per week, term‑time only
- Commencing: 1 September 2026
- Contract: Permanent, 25 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 3:30 daily, term time only (less 30 minutes unpaid lunch daily)
- Occasional additional hours may be requested to assist with open evenings etc.
- Salary: H3 5‑6 (Fringe) £25,583‑£25,989 + £729 FTE, £14,878‑£15,107 actual pro‑rata (25 hours per week) paid over 12 months.
