We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support pupils across the secondary curriculum, from English and Maths to Science, PE and beyond. You will be patient, proactive and confident working both independently and as part of a team. A key part of the role is to deliver targeted, evidence‑based interventions that accelerate progress for vulnerable learners, including pupils with SEND, those eligible for Pupil Premium and other disadvantaged groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead targeted small‑group intervention sessions and focus sessions.
- Deliver evidence‑based interventions, including Literacy, Numeracy, Science, or Social Skills programmes.
- Adapt resources to meet individual learning needs.
- Monitor, track and report on pupil progress and intervention impact.
- Support pupils’ engagement, independence and well‑being.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENDCo.
