We are looking to appoint someone to the role of TA for the rest of the academic year 2025/2026.

Weekly hours: 27.5 hours

Grade: 01 SCP Range: 02-04

We are looking for a team player, someone who is willing to work alongside others and under the guidance of class teachers and the headteacher. Excellent inter‑personal skills and the ability to communicate in a positive, encouraging manner are essential qualities. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting a Year 6 child with additional needs.

The position is offered on a temporary basis and is expected to end on 31st August 2026 due to limited funding.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience of being a teaching assistant within a primary setting
  • Be a good team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Have high expectations of pupil behaviour
  • Contribute to the ethos of a friendly, happy school, in which the personal development and well‑being is given the highest priority and where both academic and personal qualities of children are recognised and valued

As this post will result in you having substantial contact with children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Services check.
