We are looking to appoint someone to the role of TA for the rest of the academic year 2025/2026.
Weekly hours: 27.5 hours
Grade: 01 SCP Range: 02-04
We are looking for a team player, someone who is willing to work alongside others and under the guidance of class teachers and the headteacher. Excellent inter‑personal skills and the ability to communicate in a positive, encouraging manner are essential qualities. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting a Year 6 child with additional needs.
The position is offered on a temporary basis and is expected to end on 31st August 2026 due to limited funding.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience of being a teaching assistant within a primary setting
- Be a good team player with good interpersonal skills
- Have high expectations of pupil behaviour
- Contribute to the ethos of a friendly, happy school, in which the personal development and well‑being is given the highest priority and where both academic and personal qualities of children are recognised and valued
