St Mary’s Catholic High School are looking for a highly motivated, competent, and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our hardworking and friendly catering team. You will be a team player with good communication skills and a flexible approach to working. Applicants should have an awareness of the principles of food hygiene and service and be able to prepare and serve food to our students.

Qualifications

  • A Basic Food Hygiene NVQ Level 1 qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience of working in a production kitchen or food service operation would be an advantage.
  • Training can be given to the right candidate.

Working Hours & Salary

  • 20 hours per week, 10.15 am – 2.15 pm (Monday to Friday).
  • Term Time 38 weeks per year (plus 3 days cleaning).
  • Salary Grade 3 SCP 2 FTE £24,413 pro rata. Actual annual pro rata salary £11,287.
