What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the homes when a Manager is absent and provide support to the Directors.
- Attend local authority meetings/Regional Team Meetings/Safeguarding Meetings as required.
- Provide on-call/weekend cover as required.
- Any other duties that the line manager sees appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the homes.
- Audit and support all staff to deliver their duties in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure that staffing levels are appropriate/safe to meet the needs of the residents at all times.
- Audit and implement and oversee the introduction and reception processes for all new residents.
- Audit and ensure the protection of all residents, safeguard and promote their health, welfare and quality of life.
- Assist staff in the overseeing of development of a care plan for each resident in consultation with the resident, other relevant professionals and, where appropriate, the resident’s representative or family members.
- Audit and ensure the effective implementation and review of all care plans.
- Investigate all complaints, carrying out the required action, and reporting to the Director and, where necessary, the Registration Authorities.
