Responsibilities

  • Keeping accurate care and medical records
  • Instilling a positive work environment
  • Supporting your care team and conducting supervisions/appraisals
  • Liaising with health professionals and relatives to achieve the best care for each resident
  • Maintaining a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors according to all safety requirements

Candidate profile / Requirements

  • Fantastic people skills: supportive and great at communicating. Able to build strong relationships and show empathy and compassion
  • A Caring nature: enthusiastic person-centred approach with a genuine passion for improving people’s lives daily
  • A Team Player attitude: works well in a group of likeminded people
  • Adaptability: the Unit Lead role is fast paced; ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing situations
  • Experience: appropriate and relevant medication administration and care home experience
