Situated right in the heart of Hull, our home offers residential, dementia and respite care in a warm, uplifting setting. We believe great care is built on dignity, respect and meaningful moments — the small things that make every day matter.

If you’re passionate about kindness, teamwork and shaping a positive culture from the ground up, this is the perfect time to join us.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Team Leader, you’ll help shape the standard of care in our new home by:

  • Supporting residents with all aspects of daily living, ensuring comfort, dignity and independence

  • Guiding, supervising and supporting new and junior staff, helping build a confident, caring team

  • Providing attentive physical, emotional and spiritual support

  • Supporting residents with limited mobility or additional needs

  • Monitoring residents who may be confused or experiencing behavioural changes

  • Promoting continence and supporting end‑of‑life care with compassion

  • Completing and reviewing care plans and daily records

  • Encouraging hobbies, activities and social engagement

  • Responding to calls, messages and enquiries professionally

  • Liaising with GPs, families and managers to ensure excellent continuity of care

What We’re Looking For

Someone who is:

  • Warm, positive and approachable

  • Organised, reliable and confident leading a team

  • Creative, enthusiastic and able to motivate others

  • Passionate about improving the lives of older people

  • Flexible across some evenings and weekends

  • Experienced in a similar role

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified (or willing to work towards it)

What We Offer

Joining St Marys Chanterlands Lodge means:

  • Being part of a brand‑new team with a shared vision

  • A friendly, supportive and welcoming workplace

  • Real opportunities for training and career progression

  • A meaningful role where you make a difference every single day

  • A close‑knit team culture built from the ground up
