What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the homes when a Manager is absent and providing support to the Directors
- Attending local authority meetings / Regional Team Meetings / Safeguarding Meetings as required
- Providing on-call/weekend cover as required
- Performing any other duties that the line manager sees appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the homes
- Auditing and supporting all staff to deliver their duties in a timely and effective manner
- Ensuring that staffing levels are appropriate/safe to meet the needs of the residents at all times
- Auditing and implementing and overseeing the introduction and reception processes for all new residents
- Auditing and ensuring the protection of all residents, safeguarding and promoting their health, welfare, and quality of life
- Assisting staff in overseeing development of a care plan for each resident in consultation with the resident, other relevant professionals, and where appropriate, the resident’s representative or family members
- Auditing and ensuring the effective implementation and review of all care plans
- Investigating all complaints, carrying out the required action, and reporting to the Director and, where necessary, the Registration Authorities
