As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play an important leadership role within the care team, ensuring residents receive outstanding support while helping colleagues develop confidence and skills.
You will help shape the resident experience, influence standards and become an integral part of the home's future success.
What You'll Do
Be a Trusted Care Leader
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Care Assistants while promoting best practice.
Deliver Outstanding Person-Centred Care
Ensure residents receive compassionate support tailored to their individual needs and wishes.
Support Resident Health and Wellbeing
Monitor changes in wellbeing and communicate effectively with colleagues, healthcare professionals and families.
Mentor and Develop Others
Help train, support and encourage newer team members to become confident and capable carers.
Promote Independence
Empower residents to remain active, involved and in control of their daily lives wherever possible.
Maintain Excellent Standards
Support care planning, record keeping, medication administration and regulatory compliance.
Build Strong Relationships
Develop positive relationships with residents, visitors, relatives and external professionals.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working within a care environment.
- Previous senior care experience is desirable.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Strong leadership potential and confidence supporting a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A caring, compassionate and positive nature.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional care.
