  • Passion for teaching Business Studies and Economics
  • Ability to precision‑plan and improve the quality of teaching and learning across the department
  • Skill in developing a curriculum, implementing and monitoring change
  • Capacity to lead and motivate a team towards a shared goal
  • Ability to raise the profile of the department and broaden participation
  • Ability to analyse and use data effectively to ensure rapid and sustained student progress
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong parent and student relationships
