The predicted salary is between 7094 - 7094 £ per year.

Salary: Grade 3, Point 3: £7,094 per annum. Contract: Permanent, 12.5 hours per week, 38.4 weeks per year (term time plus 4 inset days).

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Childcare Assistant to join our friendly team in our Orbit Club. This role is Monday to Friday, 3pm to 5.30pm, supporting children in a safe, fun, and engaging environment where they can learn, play, and thrive.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working in a school, to be part of a friendly, supportive school community and to help provide a safe, welcoming environment for our children outside of normal school hours.

The role will be:

  • Supporting the wraparound provision after school.
  • Helping to set up and deliver fun, engaging activities for children.
  • Ensuring children are safe, happy, and well cared for.
  • Working closely with other staff to maintain a positive, nurturing environment.

No experience necessary - full training will be given!

Safeguarding responsibilities associated with this role may include engagement in regulatory activity, such as administering first aid or supporting an upset child. It will have contact with young people on a day-to-day basis.
