Are you a passionate Early Years Educator ready to take the next step? Can you help us to strengthen our play-based approach to learning across EYFS and KS1?
St Mary’s isn’t just a school; it’s a brave, forward-thinking family in which children come first. We have long-known the benefits of play-based learning in the EYFS and have made huge strides in our quest to extend this into KS1. We’re looking for an energetic and ambitious teacher to work alongside our EYFS and KS1 Leads to further strengthen our provision. You’ll be joining us at an exciting time; your input will be crucial to develop our EYFS provision.
Staff here know that their work can change lives and because of this, we strive to be at the forefront of primary education. Our research-based approach to learning, progressive curriculum and innovative learning environments make us unique. Likewise, we’re looking for a teacher who also stands out from the crowd: someone with the energy, experience and empathy to establish themselves quickly and deliver the very best educational experiences for our children.
We know that talented staff will eventually want to advance in their career so to make sure that you grow and progress during your time at St Mary’s, we will:
- provide a comprehensive induction programme;
- equip you with an innovative and exciting curriculum to teach and develop;
- support your pedagogical development through our ‘Deliberate Professional Empowerment Programme’;
- nurture your leadership skills.
If you’re looking for a school with a traditionalist approach, this is not the role for you. It requires someone with a sense of adventure who will readily share in the hard work and excitement that accompanies our collective strive to be excellent. With us, you’ll find reward in our warm-hearted character, collegiate approach and, most importantly in working with our remarkable children.
St Mary’s is a proud partner academy of SNMAT. Being part of this Trust is unlike working for others; they know quality when they see it and always look to retain excellence! Because they share our drive to provide the very best quality of education for our children, we are not bound by corporate colours or policies, meaning that your input could truly make a difference to our provision.
If you’re interested in working with us, then please call the school for an informal discussion with our headteacher or arrange an appointment to look around.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and would expect anyone joining our school to share the same ethos. All candidates are subject to safer recruitment procedures. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
