We are recruiting for a permanent Support Worker at Highwater House, a residential care home providing care for 22 adults with mental health and substance misuse issues.

Responsibilities

  • Medication administration
  • Care planning
  • Escorting residents to appointments
  • Planning and implementing activities
  • Providing personal care
  • Attending meetings with other professionals

Qualifications

  • Empathy and support for clients with complex needs
  • Strong time‑management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Demonstrated caring, kind, empathic and patient attitudes, and knowledge of basic care principles

Work details

  • 32 hours per week (Permanent)
  • Shift work including evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins
  • Salary range: £27,274–£29,070 per full‑time equivalent
  • Sleep‑in rate: £44.54
