Classroom Cover Supervisors are required to pick up the work of the absent teacher and deliver this, whilst supervising the pupil’s behaviour. Dynamic, versatile and enthusiastic people are needed for this role which can require occasions of thinking on your feet.
In addition to the above, the senior cover supervisor will be responsible for planning and organising whole school cover, which includes managing the in-house cover team and coordinating requirements with external supply agencies. An understanding of managing a budget would be an advantage.
