Reporting into the Head of Groups & Events you will be responsible for assisting with the daily running of the Groups & Events Team, ensuring service standards are met, fostering positive client relationships and ensuring budgets are exceeded for St Martins Lane London and Sanderson London.

In this role asGroups & Events Manager, you will:

  • Responsible for picking up the duties of the Head of Groups & Events in their absence.
  • Assist with the management of the Groups & Events team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Groups & Events to develop and execute event strategies, ensuring that all events meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Oversee the activities of the team, providing training and assistance where necessary. Ensure policies, guidelines and standards of operations within the department are adhered to.

To succeed in this role, youll need:

  • You ideally have multi-property or multi-brand experience.
  • 3+ years experience in an upscale or lifestyle event venue sales and planning environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Efficient in using Microsoft office, Opera, Delphi, Cvent and other RFP platforms.
  • Flexibility in working hours is required.
