No two days are alike as we provide unique experiences every day such as our Mad Hatters afternoon tea in the Sanderson courtyard or our signature cocktails in the Blind Spot at St Martins Lane, our speakeasy cocktail bar.

We have a fabulous opportunity to join St Martins Lane in our Food & Beverage team as a Food & Beverage Server on a full-time basis (40 hours a week). You will support the seamless running of the restaurant spaces by providing a highly efficient and effective service. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency and delivery of all food options whilst delivering an Engaging, Dynamic Guest Experience.

  • Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
  • Greeting and acknowledging guests whilst building a rapport.
  • Recognising repeat guests and addressing them with their names.
  • Be knowledgeable of food and drink menus offered and be able to answer queries and/or offer suggestions if asked.
  • Upsell food and beverage menu items where possible, to maximize profit wherever possible.
  • To prepare, clean and clear tables, before, during and after service.
  • Ensuring that all ordered food is announced to guests at their table.
  • Communicating guest complaints and compliments to management.
  • Communicating guest special occasions to staff/management i.e. anniversaries, birthdays, proposals etc.

To be successful in this role we ask that you have:

  • Previous experience within hotels or service-based industry would be ideal but not required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Sense of urgency.

  • Have a genuine passion for food and beverage.
