We have a fabulous opportunity to joinSt Martins Lanein our Food & Beverage team as anF&B Host.

You will support the seamless running of the restaurant spaces, by providing a highly efficient and effective service. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting guests and seating them in our restaurant whilst delivering an Engaging, Dynamic Guest Experience.

  • Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
  • Greeting and acknowledging guests whilst building a rapport.
  • Recognising repeat guests and addressing them with their names.
  • Accommodates guests needs, i.e. wheel chair, restrooms, movement of drinks from one location to another, etc.
  • Communicating guest complaints and compliments to management.
  • Communicating guest special occasion to staff/management i.e. anniversaries, birthdays, proposals etc.
  • Alerting the kitchen as well as management in regards to business flow, i.e. amount of guests seated, how many are waiting, how many open tables etc.
  • Ensuring guest seating is rotated between all service stations.
  • Answering telephone to take new reservation and maintain current reservations within procedural guidelines.
  • Be knowledgeable of food and drink menus offered and be able to answer queries and/or offer suggestions.

To be successful in this role we ask that you have:

  • Previous experience within hotels or service-based industry would be ideal but not required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Sense of urgency.

  • Have a genuine passion for food and beverage.
