We are recruiting for a permanent Support Worker at Highwater House, a residential care home providing care for 22 adults with mental health and substance misuse issues.
Duties will include:
- Medication administering
- Care planning
- Escorting residents to appointments
- Planning and implementing activities
- Providing personal care
- Attending meetings with other professionals
Applicants must be supportive and empathise with clients who may have a variety of complex needs. They should have the ability to manage time effectively, possess good organisational skills, and be capable of working within a team.
Applicants must be able to practically demonstrate that they are: Caring, Kind, Empathic, and Patient, and have knowledge of the basic principles of Care.
32 HOURS PER WEEK (Permanent) (Shift work including evenings and weekends, and sleep ins)
Salary range: £26,403 - £28,142 (FTE) 32hrs = £22,234 - £23,698 per annum. Sleep in rate £43.12.
