We have an exciting new position for a Finance Manager to join our finance team at St Martins. Hours - part-time, minimum 20 hours a week, flexible working pattern. Hours can be negotiated at interview. Salary - Starting Salary £36,363 full time equivalent.
St Martins is the largest charity supporting people experiencing homelessness in Norfolk, working with adults who may have experienced trauma linked to homelessness, addiction, mental or physical health needs, family breakdown, criminal activity and other disadvantages.
The main purpose of the job is to work across St Martins to ensure the finance function interfaces effectively with the operational requirements of the organisation.
You Will Do This By
- Assisting the CFO in working alongside the Senior Management Team and the Directors to set and produce annual budgets, cashflows each financial year.
- Preparing monthly management accounts, providing accurate and meaningful financial information for the Senior Management Team to act upon.
- Assisting the CFO with month end processes.
- Supporting the CFO with the development and implementation of new processes and systems which will enhance working practices across the organisation.
- Supporting the Senior Finance Officer with the management of the team.
We Are Looking For
- Part/Fully Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience with minimum of 2 years within a similar role.
- Experience of working in a senior position working alongside senior management.
- Good understanding of the construction of management information and budget preparation.
- Experience of system development and improvements.
- Advanced Excel and IT skills.
- Proven track record of team management and development.
- Awareness of charity legislation.
