St Barnabas Trust is looking to recruit an outstanding KS1 teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust at St Martin’s School. St Martins is a vibrant and nurturing church school for children aged 3-11. Our dedicated team works closely to recognise and develop each child’s unique gifts and talents, helping them flourish in confidence, character and independence.

Alongside a strong academic foundation, we offer an embedded outdoor adventure curriculum that inspires curiosity, exploration and a lifelong love of learning. We are looking for a teacher who will truly make a difference in children’s lives. We welcome applications from ECT's and experienced teachers. In return, we offer excellent ongoing professional development and the opportunity to work alongside staff from other schools within the Trust. This is a part time 0.4 permanent position.

Interview Process

Successful candidates will be invited to interview on Tuesday 30th June 2026, where they will be required to plan and deliver a 15‑minute interactive learning session based on a high‑quality children’s text or literacy stimulus. This task must demonstrate your ability to captivate pupils' interest, challenge their thinking and clearly reflect National Curriculum learning objectives for Key Stage 1.
