We are looking for caring, patient, and nurturing Teaching Assistants to join our school supporting pupils and teachers in Key Stage 2. You will get to know our pupils well and will enjoy seeing them flourish and progress through the year.

Key duties include:

  • Assisting the teacher in delivering and preparing materials for engaging and inclusive lessons and activities
  • Helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
  • Supporting pupils within whole-class settings as well as in small groups
  • Providing targeted support to enable all pupils to fully engage in their learning and achieve their potential

You will have:

  • Relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • An awareness of child/young person’s development and learning
  • An understanding that children/young people have differing needs
  • Experience appropriate to working with children in a learning environment (This can be as part of the level 2 course placements)
