Job Overview
Providing care and support to people in the latter stages of their life is a privilege. We are recruiting for a Care Assistant to support a busy care home with flexible hours, alternate weekends, and an opportunity to make a real difference. Location: The service’s premises, but you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice.
Role-specific Duties
- Ensure that residents are at the heart of care delivery, respecting their wishes and preferences to enhance their wellbeing.
- Contribute to the efficient running of the service.
- Support residents to maintain relationships and connections with their local community.
- Follow care plans and other supporting information regarding residents.
- Inform the Senior Care Assistant/Nurse of any changes in a resident’s needs.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of those being supported.
