Job purpose
You will take ownership of income processes, arrears monitoring, and rent accounting. You will ensure income is accurate, collected on time, and risks are identified and addressed early.

Key responsibilities
- Income and reconciliation
- Manage weekly income posting and allocation, ensuring accuracy across all resident accounts.
- Run and review weekly debit processes across all projects.
- Reconcile income, balances, and voids, identifying and resolving discrepancies quickly.
- Validate funding rates against charges and resolve issues with operations and funders.
- Produce weekly and monthly income reports with commentary on variances and risks.
- Maintain accurate rent and funding rates within systems.
- Support month-end processes, including journals and reconciliations.
- Arrears management
- Produce and own the monthly arrears position, highlighting risks and actions.
- Monitor and follow up overdue balances with managers and external partners.
- Challenge and support operational teams to improve collection performance.
- Issue arrears communications and maintain clear audit trails.
- Support escalation and legal action in line with policy.
- Use data to identify patterns and improve income collection.
- Invoicing and funding
- Manage monthly invoicing across projects.
- Upload and track invoices through borough portals.
- Build relationships with funding body finance teams.
- Ensure income is not delayed due to process or data issues.
- Starters and leavers
- Oversee accurate and timely setup of all starters and leavers.
- Ensure documentation is complete and followed up.
- Maintain tracking and resolve discrepancies quickly.
