St Martin at Shouldham Church of England Primary Academy – Part‑Time Class Teacher

Position: Class Teacher / 40% part‑time (two days per week). Commencing: September 2026 or sooner.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver classroom teaching for primary‑school pupils.
  • Support the teaching and learning of all pupils in your care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and pupils to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times.
  • Maintain accurate and timely record‑keeping for pupils’ progress and attendance.

Qualifications

  • Experience working as a Class Teacher in a primary school.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious, and dedicated to improving children’s life chances through education.
  • Highly organised, conscientious, and able to set clear priorities for a busy workload.
  • Adept at working cooperatively and communicating clearly with colleagues, parents, and pupils.
  • ‘Can‑do’ attitude with initiative and flexibility.
