St Marks School is seeking to appoint a Personal Assistant to the Headteacher. The post holder will represent the school by being professional, articulate and well presented at all times. They will act as the main point of contact for parents, visitors and staff with regards to the business of the Headteacher. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent IT skills and knowledge of Google Suite packages. They will have the ability to work under pressure, work to deadlines and use their initiative. At least 3 years experience in a relevant Personal Assistant or secretarial role is essential.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Headteacher and Leadership Team assisting them in carrying out their responsibilities.
- Manage the Administration team ensuring priorities are effectively and efficiently managed.
- Keep abreast of the activities of the school.
- Oversee all HR matters within the school.
- Oversee the Finance in school and be the conduit between the school and central finance team.
- Be jointly accountable for Health and Safety compliance with Site manager.
- Manage educational visits for the school and be appointed as the Educational Visits Coordinator.
- Guide and lead on the organisation of all school events.
- Share support staff input and updates with the Headteacher to support effective communication.
