St Mark’s CofE School is a mainstream junior school for 360 pupils aged 7-11 years and next door, on the same campus, is Wyndham Park Infants’ School, a mainstream infant school with 270 pupils between the ages of 4-7. Both schools have a SEND resource base and collaborate together. As a developing Multi Academy Trust, now is an exciting time to join us at St Marks CofE Junior School. We are looking to appoint a motivated and creative Class Teacher.
Your Role
- Able to provide examples of good teaching practice; including preparation and planning, classroom management and the maintenance of effective working relationships with pupils and colleagues, or exposure to this in a Senior Teaching Assistant / HLTA capacity.
- To organise the effective deployment and direction of Teaching Assistants.
- To support the School Improvement Plan and contribute to the strategic vision of the Headteacher and Local Governing Committee (LGC).
- To set and evaluate individual termly targets and to maintain records of achievement for pupils, in consultation with colleagues.
- To provide a stimulating classroom environment, where resources can be accessed appropriately by all pupils.
