St Mark's Church of England School are seeking an exceptional Art Teacher to join our growing school and shape the development of our art curriculum. You should be able to inspire our students in line with our whole school Christian distinctiveness and ethos, helping them achieve excellence. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious teacher to develop their practice and actively contribute to our evolving department.
About the Role
- Be expected to plan and deliver lessons to the whole school up to GCSE.
- Teach and develop your chosen subject within the school in a professional way, ensuring the curriculum is progressive across the all-through school.
- Make a major contribution to the school’s development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support assistants ensuring they are fully briefed on lesson plans and expectations to enable them to fully contribute to improving pupil outcomes.
- Be accountable for implementing the school's Behaviour policy and play an active role in the day-to-day management of pupil behaviour and mental wellbeing.
