Salary: Grade 6, £18,358 - £20,258 per annum. 27.5 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year. Required for September 2026.

Your role: The Governing Board, staff and children of St. Marie's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated school team. We are an outstanding small, friendly school with a big heart and warm family environment situated in the heart of the Standish community. You will work across the whole school, and the range of support will vary from covering PPA sessions and management time, to leading Special Educational Needs interventions and supporting class teachers with small group work, marking, displays and organisation of resources.

  • Able to plan, deliver, mark and assess a subject area to cover PPA and management time.
