St Margaret’s Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Medical and Research Team Administrator to join their team. This role is based in Taunton and is a 15 hours per week part‑time, permanent position with a salary of £11,547.72 per annum.
What can you expect to be doing?
- As an administrator for the Medical and Research team, you will provide professional, efficient, and confidential administration, coordinating support and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Organise bookings, training sessions, courses, meetings, and associated logistics for the medical team, including rota management.
- Support onboarding, induction, and exit processes for clinical staff and medical student placements.
- Assist with Quality Improvement and Research activities of the Senior medical team/Head of Research.
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and coordinate follow‑up actions for meetings chaired by the medical team.
What skills are needed for this post?
- Ability to create and manage spreadsheets for audits, data tracking, and reporting.
- Use of Excel functions to analyse and interpret data for decision‑making.
- Format and prepare documents using Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience and a thorough understanding of using Teams.
- Develop templates and improve administrative processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Accurate record keeping at all times.
