We’re looking for a talented Brand & Marketing Manager to lead creative campaigns that inspire thousands and help fund life-changing care across Somerset. About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Communications, you’ll take the lead on developing and delivering brand and marketing campaigns that raise awareness, grow engagement, and drive income.

  • Develop and execute powerful multi‑channel campaigns – from digital and social to print and PR.
  • Champion the St Margaret’s brand, ensuring a consistent, creative and high‑impact identity across every touchpoint.
  • Guide and inspire our Digital Marketing Coordinator and wider creative team.
  • Collaborate with fundraising, retail and clinical teams to maximise the impact of every campaign.
  • Use data and insight to measure success, refine messaging and continually evolve our approach.

This is a hands‑on manager role – part strategist, part creative driver, where no two days are the same.

About You

You’re an experienced marketing and communications professional with a track record of delivering results across digital and traditional channels.

  • Proven experience leading brand and marketing campaigns end‑to‑end.
  • Strong creative judgement with the ability to turn ideas into engaging, results‑driven content.
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • A proactive, “can‑do” attitude and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders, agencies and partners.
  • Travel across the geographical area covered by the hospice as required.
  • A relevant marketing qualification or equivalent experience.

What can we offer you?

  • Salary: ÂŁ35,336–38,036 per annum
  • Location: Taunton based, with some working in Yeovil
  • Contract: Permanent, Full time (37 hours per week)
  • Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, worked Monday‑Thursday 9‑5 and Friday 9‑4:30
  • Holiday entitlement: 33 days holiday including bank holidays rising to 35 days after 1 year, and increasing with length of service (pro‑rata if part‑time)
  • Ability to buy and sell annual leave

  • Non‑NHS employees will receive 5.5% employer and 5% employee contribution.
