The role

We are seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking design and visual communication teacher and curriculum leader to join our team and teach students from Y9-13. This is a rare opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys both creative practice and curriculum leadership, and who is committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences.

The successful applicant will meet and extend the needs of learners through sound New Zealand Curriculum teaching, strong pedagogical practice, and the effective use of digital technologies, blended learning, and differentiation. Proven experience teaching design and visual communication is essential. Familiarity with the IB curriculum would be an advantage, though it is not required.

The role is offered as a minimum 12-month fixed term, covering a period of parental leave. We are flexible with the start date; however, the preferred commencement is as soon as possible, or no later than the start of term 2 on Tuesday 28 April 2026.

Applicants must have knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum. They must commit to the vision and values of the College and demonstrate a commitment to be part of a well-resourced and supportive environment with motivated students who are keen to learn.
