The predicted salary is between 25989 - 26403 £ per year.
Salary: TA: NJC Grade C: £25,989 - £26,403 FTE HLTA: NJC Grade E: £30,518 - £33,699 FTE (The above values will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)
Working pattern: These are permanent positions working a total of 24 hours per week: 19 hours TA and 5 hours HLTA, 39 weeks per year.
About the Role
- As TA, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils’ welfare and personal care, including those with SEND
- Implementing literacy and numeracy interventions
- Assisting with planning cycles and preparing learning resources
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil independence
You will also assist with supervision during break/lunchtimes and accompany pupils on trips when required.
- As HLTA working under an agreed system of supervision, you will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes
- Support teachers by helping create an engaging learning environment and preparing resources
- Monitor, assess and record pupils’ progress, providing detailed feedback and evidence
- Lead small-group interventions and support delivery of literacy, numeracy and other curriculum strategies
- Contribute to out-of-school learning activities as required
