We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Religious Education to join our already outstanding team of teachers. We are seeking someone who shares our passion for success and exceptionally high standards both in and outside the classroom. The suitable candidate will make a valued contribution to the department and will help to shape the way in which Religious Education has a positive impact upon the lives of our young people and our distinctive Lasallian charism.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Religious Education and there may also be the opportunity to teach A Level Philosophy & Ethics as well as our Post-16 Core Religious Education course delivered to all of our sixth form students. Applications from ECTs (for whom excellent support is available) are welcomed as are applications from those seeking part time employment.
The Academy is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and expects all of its employees to share this commitment. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Amendment Order 1986 and, as such, it will be necessary for a Submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous convictions.
