About St. Luke’s Day School

St. Luke’s Day School is a Christ‑centered early childhood program where teachers and parents teach and strengthen each child's emotional, social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual skills while playing and learning together. Quality and continuity of staff are important parts of the program.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Plan and execute a developmentally appropriate program in coordination with your teaching partner.
  • Ensure the welfare, health, and safety of each child in your care.
  • Maintain appropriate records.
  • Maintain good communication with children, families, and co‑workers.
  • Take care of school and church property.
  • Commit to growing professionally through staff development opportunities and special school events.

Our school serves infants through transitional Kindergarten. We have teaching positions available in Toddler, Twos, and PreK classes. We are seeking full‑time teachers, M‑F, 8:30 am‑5:30 pm, as well as closers 2:30‑5:30 pm. Our pay range is $15‑18 per hour. If the candidate does not have a Child Development Associate (CDA), it is required to be completed at our school during the first year of employment.
