We’re looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing & Communications team and help bring our story to life. This is a hands‑on, varied role where no two days are the same. One day you might be creating social media content, the next updating the website, supporting a fundraising campaign, visiting a retail shop, or designing eye‑catching posters.

About the RoleAs our Marketing Assistant, you’ll support the delivery of St Luke’s marketing, communications and digital activity across multiple channels. You’ll help ensure our messaging is engaging, compassionate, consistent and aligned with our brand. You’ll work closely with the Marketing & Communications Team, building positive relationships across clinical teams, fundraising, retail and corporate services. What You’ll Be Doing- Social Media & Digital
- Creating, scheduling and monitoring content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and X
- Spotting trends and identifying ways to grow reach and engagement
- Responding to messages and comments with professionalism and sensitivity
- Supporting analytics reporting and identifying opportunities for growth
- Website, Email & Intranet
- Updating website content and alerts
- Keeping the hospice intranet accurate and up to date
- Design & Creative
- Designing posters, leaflets and social graphics using Canva
- Supporting photography and video content gathering
- Maintaining our digital image library and shared folders
- Print & On‑Site Support
- Coordinating printing and distribution of materials
- Updating digital screens across hospice and retail sites
- Supporting retail promotions and site visits
- Campaigns & Events
- Assisting with fundraising campaigns, retail promotions and event launches
- Supporting projects such as website reviews and TikTok development
- Undertaking research into audience insights and social trends
- Occasional evening and weekend work will be required to support events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using social media for an organisation or brand
- Basic design skills (e.g. Canva or similar tools)
- Good organisation and time management
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Confident using Microsoft Office and digital tools
