We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance and Education Administrator. Quality Assurance and Education Administrator Vacancy – Clinical Governance and Training Support

As the Quality Assurance and Education Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the safe and effective delivery of our clinicalservices. Working with colleagues across the Hospice, you will coordinate quality assurance processes, maintain key documentation, and provide high-quality administrative support to our education programmes. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure St. Luke’s Hospice continues to provide exceptional care and learning opportunities for our team membersand volunteers.

Key Responsibilities – Quality Assurance and Education Administration

  • Support the management and administration of clinical governance processes, including audits, risk registers, incidents, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate the scheduling, booking, and preparation of internal and external training, induction, and educational events for staff and volunteers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records relating to quality indicators, education attendance, policies, and procedures in accordance with organisational policies.
  • Assist with data collection and the creation of reports on quality metrics, audits, and education activities for internal and external use.
  • Provide administrative support for committees and meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up of actions as required.
  • Assist with the dissemination and monitoring of mandatory training, supporting employees and volunteers to complete education requirements on time.
  • Help ensure continuous improvement by supporting the Quality and Education team in reviewing processes and identifying areas for development.
  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for colleagues regarding quality assurance documentation and education opportunities.

Skills, Experience, and Attributes – Quality Assurance and Education Administration

  • Previous administrative experience in a healthcare, education, or charity sector setting is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to follow established procedures.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), and willingness to learn new systems.

Location, Contract, and Working Arrangements

  • Location: Main base at the Thurrock Hospice (RM14 3EB), with potential for occasional travel to other Hospice sites.
  • Contract: Permanent.
  • Hours: Part-time, working25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (some flexibility considered).
  • Salary: £15,956 to £16,776 per year (dependent on experience and contracted hours).
