St Lukes is recruiting a Staff Nurse / Paramedic to join the inpatient unit. The unit delivers palliative and end‑of‑life care for patients with complex needs, maintaining a high standard of care and a supportive nurse‑to‑patient ratio.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence‑based care to patients receiving palliative and end‑of‑life support.
- Participate in daily activities, including clinical assessments, medication administration, symptom management and care planning.
- Assist senior staff with multidisciplinary team meetings and documentation.
- Work internal rotations, including nights and weekends.
- Support patients, families and volunteers in coping with end‑of‑life processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse or Paramedic with a current registration.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care in a palliative or end‑of‑life setting.
- Post‑registration experience across a range of settings is desirable, but not essential.
- Experience or qualification in palliative care is a plus.
- Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced clearance is required.
