Do you have a strong passion for fashion and sustainability? Do you have strong customer service skills and retail experience? St Luke’s are recruiting for a full‑time Shop Assistant to assist the Shop Manager in the day‑to‑day running of our busy charity shop in Saltash. This is a unique opportunity to join a brand-new Saltash shop and help build strong relationships with local customers, donors and volunteers from the very beginning. The role will also include working in our existing Saltash shop on a rotating basis.
With a hands‑on approach, you will support the Shop Manager to increase sales and profitability, provide superb customer care and motivate the team including volunteers. You will need retail or customer service experience and be confident working as part of a team. There will also be a requirement to carry out relevant administration including completing paperwork associated with volunteer inductions, staff rotas and banking procedures.
