Our Retail team here at St Luke's Hospice Plymouth is thriving! Our shops look incredible and the sales we make are the biggest source of income for our charity. We are recruiting a Roaming Shop Assistant, on a fixed-term basis, to work between all of our shops in the South Hams, Plymouth and East Cornwall areas, where variety is the spice of life and no day is ever the same.
You will travel between all our shop locations, providing cover for absences. You will need to be able to turn your hand to lots of different types of shop in our wide catchment area and mingle with every member of our incredible Retail team. With a hands-on approach, you will support the Shop Manager to increase sales and profitability, provide superb customer care and motivate the team including volunteers.
You must have customer service/retail experience and be able to work within a team environment. There will be a requirement to carry out relevant administration to include completing paperwork associated with volunteer induction, staff rotas and banking procedures.
