It’s not just the medical care we give our patients that helps them feel as at ease as possible. For those we look after at Turnchapel, it is about creating a welcoming haven, the ‘home from home’ they need so they can be themselves, get the most from every day and spend quality time with loved ones.

If you want to use your catering experience in a more meaningful way and be in control of when and how much you work, this could just be your perfect role.

We are proud to have gained the 5-star standard from Environmental Health for our busy kitchen and Driftwood Café for patients, visitors and staff.

This is a catering job like no other, where a smile and friendly chat with a patient on the ward or a welcome cup of tea for their visitors can make a vital difference to people going through the toughest of times. You could even be wheeling our famous drinks trolley, making sure our patients get to enjoy their favourite tipple each day!

Working at the heart of our hospice, you will be part of a supportive team in a positive, uplifting environment in stunning surroundings.

To deliver and maintain the high standards of St Luke’s, our kitchen is staffed between 9am and 6.30pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This is covered on a set rota, so a degree of flexibility is required from the successful candidate.
