Part-Time HLTA – St Luke's C.E. Primary School

Pay: Point 12 (FTE £28,598 per year, approx. £22,620 pro‑rata). Hours: 35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. Commencing: September 2026.

We are looking for an experienced HLTA to support teaching and learning, covering classes as timetabled and on an ad hoc basis.

About You

  • Experience of working across the primary age range
  • Experience working in a TA or HLTA role
  • Experience of covering classes
  • Knowledge of Sounds Write phonics, Complete Maths and PKC
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
  • Highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
  • Able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
  • ‘Can‑do’ attitude and ability to use initiative
  • Flexible and professional in working hours
