Responsibilities

  • Supervise classes during short‑term teacher absence, delivering pre‑planned lessons and maintaining a calm, purposeful learning environment with high expectations for behaviour and engagement.
  • Cover a range of subjects, including Physical Education, ensuring students remain motivated, active and focused on learning.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Passionate about supporting young people to succeed.
  • Confidence to lead classes across a range of subjects, including PE.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students positively.
  • Promote high expectations of behaviour and learning.
  • Enthusiasm for sport, physical activity and student wellbeing.

The successful applicant will maintain a positive learning environment, support students to access the curriculum and manage behaviour effectively in the classroom and during PE activities.
