Bring your team together and make a real difference locally
Corporate volunteering at St Leonard’s Hospice is a rewarding way to support your local community while strengthening your team. Many organisations now offer corporate volunteering days, giving employees the opportunity to take paid time to volunteer and give back.
By supporting the Hospice, your team will help us continue providing care to people with life-limiting illnesses across York and the surrounding area. At the same time, corporate volunteering offers real benefits for those involved—boosting employee engagement, wellbeing, teamwork, and skills development. And just as importantly, it can be great fun.
We offer a range of opportunities across the Hospice and welcome both individuals and small groups of corporate volunteers. Half-day and full-day options are available, depending on the area you’d like to support.

About the Hospice
St Leonard’s Hospice provides care and support to local people living with life-limiting illnesses and to the people they care about. We couldn’t carry out the important work we do without a committed and talented team of Volunteers and Supporters – people of all ages, and from all walks of life who help us provide care and assistance throughout the organisation as well as promoting the work of the hospice in local communities and raising crucial funds. This can be through the sale of pre-loved goods in our shops, or by helping out or taking part in one of our numerous Fundraising events.
