Contract Term: permanent, starting in September.
Hours: 30.25 hours per week: 8:30am - 3:10pm (includes a 30 min lunch duty, a 30 min lunch break).
Salary: SC-2. NJC points 4-7. Starting Salary £17,335 (£25185 - £26403 FTE). Term Time only - 38 weeks per annum.
Annual Leave: Taken outside of term time and paid pro-rata throughout the year (no annual leave to be taken during term time).

We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and hard-working team. The permanent role will initially be in Year 1 and a knowledge of or willingness to learn how to support children learning phonics is essential.
St Leonard's CofE Primary School, in Exeter, is proud to be part of St Christopher's Multi Academy Trust. We are a community school that serves around 600 pupils, set in extensive grounds filled with wide open spaces and woodlands that allow our children to engage in the wonder of outdoor learning.
We have experienced continued growth and success thanks to our dedicated staff. Your role will be to support the learning and needs of different pupils, supporting children with SEND, assisting classes and running small group activities. You will have had some previous experience in working with children and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike, encouraging everyone to be the ‘best that they can be’.
