St Leger Homes are looking to recruit a qualified plumber who is trained to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a customer focused environment in carrying all types of plumbing work and associated maintenance works, on dwellings St Leger Homes manages.

All new employees within Property Services front line delivery are expected to be able to carry out multi-skilling. The successful applicants will be required to carry out additional trade work to a required standard which is in addition to the substantive trade in which you are qualified and it is not intended to mean that you are qualified in an additional trade. By being available and able to carry out all of an agreed list of additional skills, will be one of the criteria for reaching the top of your grade.

A flexible approach to work, an ability to follow written instructions and procedures and to move and handle tools, equipment and materials plus a full UK driving licence are essential.

Benefits include up to 36 days leave subject to service, SLHD contribution to personal pension scheme and a Medicash health package.

To work a 37 hour working week:

  • Mon – Thurs: 8.00 - 16.00
  • Fri: 8.00 - 15.30
